Most projects start with a measured survey of the building plot or existing building.  We then use this information to produce accurate plans and elevations, which we use as a base to start designing your project.


So that you are able to fully visualise and understand all aspects of the design that we produce, we use a range of hand sketches and state of the art drawing software to describe the design proposals in detail.

For more complex projects where planning approval could be difficult to achieve, we recommend making use of the council's pre-application advice service.  This is where we discuss our ideas with the planning department prior to planning application being submitted, to give the proposals the best chance of gaining approval.


Most larger projects will need a planning approval, for which we apply to your local council.  We have a wealth of knowledge in planning law, and have built up an excellent working relationship with the local councils.  


All building projects will require building regulations approval.  Where appropriate, we work with various other consultants such Structural Engineers and Service Engineers to produce detailed design drawings to achieve building regulations approval.  We have built up a network of professional consultants that we can recommend to ensure that your project is delivered with quality.


On more complicated projects, we can administrate the building contract between you and your builder, to ensure excellent quality and cost control for your project, whilst keeping the project running to an agreed timescale.
